2017 Bowman Chrome National Sports Collectors Convention Refractor Set
Those who attended the 2017 National Sports Collectors Convention in Rosemont Illinois had the opportunity to participate in the Topps wrapper redemption. This year, depending on the box you opened, participants were given one to two silver foil packs that contained four unique Bowman Chrome refractor cards. These cards depict the standard 2017 Bowman Chrome design but differ by having a special prism refractor pattern and the NSCC logo in the upper right corner. Additionally, on the face of the card where the team logo should be found, the NSCC cards have two digits that coincided with a career bench mark year of the featured player. The NSCC Bowman Chrome set consists of fifty subjects that include all-time greats such as Roberto Clemente and Hank Aaron, but is also loaded with future greats like Cody Bellinger and Aaron Judge. Outside of base cards, parallels do exist. All players can be found in Gold versions (#ed /50), Red versions (#ed /10), and Black versions (#ed /1).
